We purchased our house from Hunt Homes in 2006. We visited the model home for Hunt homes for the 2006 year; my wife and I both fell in love with the model house. The detailed craftsmanship and attention to detail was evident throughout the house. We initially asked the selling agent if the model home was for sale, unfortunately it was not.

As a potential customer we met with Steve Hunt shortly afterward, we asked for more information on Hunt Homes. He explained that the model house was not for sale and that he would accommodate building a custom house with the same layout. Given that we liked the design of the model home, we considered having the same home essentially built in another section of the Hunt homes development. Steve as concerned that the same design repeated through the development would diminish the curb appeal of the house and its design and feel.

After some thoughtful consideration we agreed to purchase the model home from Hunt homes and wait approximately ten months before taking ownership. During the ten month waiting period we did not find another house in the Woodstock, Ontario community that offered the design layout, over sized lot, access to the 410 highway and childrenÕs park.

We now have a family and have found the Hunt Homes development to be conducive to a family setting. There is a great mix of retirement, growing families and single dwellers in our neighborhood.

We are routinely reminded by friends who visit our home how beautiful our ÒhouseÓ is. We no longer consider it a house it is our family home. Another interesting feature of our home that we coined Òthe princess roomÓ is a front bedroom that has a bedroom area and play room component. It has spectacular natural light that brightens the room, everyone who has ever visited our home remarks on this wonderful room. Our main floor is open style; the natural light that cascades provides us with maximum natural light through the main floor.

We have had minor issues with our house which Steve personally addressed in a speedy and efficient manner. One of the most reassuring qualities of a Hunt Home for our family is; Steve Hunt lives in his own building development. Many builders can build a home, few live in their own development!

My Husband and I along with my mother would like to compliment Hunt Homes on well-run company. We were very pleased with Steve HuntÕs understanding of our situation. At the time my mother had just lost her husband so we decided to build a home together. We had gone to a couple of different builders who wouldnÕt listen to our needs or ideas. We really felt they did not have our best interest at heart. When we approached Hunt Homes we found that Steve was willing to listen to our wants and needs. He customized our floor plan to our unique needs. The over all experience was great. As far as us wanting to make last minute changes and trust us we made a few.
